My Top Drugstore Setting Powders

Hey Everybody,

So, as the weather get’s warmer, setting your makeup is of the utmost importance. To see how to make your makeup last in the warmer weather, check out my blog on that, but that’s not what this blog is about, as you can probably tell from the title. This blog will go into my favorite affordable setting powders and why I like them. Obviously, I am only going to recommend the ones I’ve tried, so if you have recommendations please comment them down below!

1.Maybelline Master Fix by Studio Face Loose Powder- $7.94setting powder maybellineThe reason I love this product so much is because it really mattifies my face and keeps my face from oiling up. However, the only draw back is that it does have some flashback when you’re taking selfies, to take into consideration.

2.Neutrogena Shine Control Powder- $11.97

Even though this is a pressed powder I love it as much as if not more than it’s loose powdered peers. It instantly mattifies my face for a flawless finish and I always feel like my skin is in good hands with Neutrogena, which isn’t always the case with other drugstore brands.

3.Coty Airspun Loose Powder-$5.97

Honestly this is the original powder for me. My mom used it, my grandma used it and this powder works. It keeps your face set and if you haven’t tried it yet it’s on of the best drugstore options to set your makeup there is.

4.Revlon PhotoReady Finisher- $11.97

This is actually the product I’m currently living for. I love how it keeps the oil at bay while still leaving me with a somewhat natural finish on my foundation for the spring weather. I wouldn’t recommend this for the more humid days but it’s a great choice in transitioning weather.

5.Elf High Definition Powder-$6

I love this powder because of how affordable it is and how easy it is to get a hold of. It’s a great matifying loose powder, but has the same issue with flashback that the Maybelline StudioFix does.

So there it is, my favorite drugstore setting powders. If you hadn’t noticed, most of these are translucent because I feel like those are the easiest to blend out for every skin tone and don’t end up changing the color of your foundation. I hope you guys find this helpful and if you have any experience with these products please share them down below in the comments.

-XoXo,

U-Indy Girl
